David Dickey

David Dickey is a mission-driven entrepreneur, executive recruiter, and decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran with a lifelong commitment to serving the aerospace and defense industries. Based in Huntington Beach, California, David is the founder and CEO of The Patriot Group, Inc., a boutique executive search firm specializing in mission-critical placements across aerospace, defense, and high-tech sectors.

With more than 18 years of leadership experience, David has successfully built and led multiple aerospace ventures. He co-founded Patriot International, LLC in 2008, a startup focused on aerospace and defense solutions, which later merged with Alpha Ten Technologies, Inc.—another company David founded and led as CEO. Under his guidance, Alpha Ten grew steadily until its successful exit, a testament to his strategic acumen and operational leadership.

Before entering the private sector, David served honorably as an Infantry and Intelligence Officer in the United States Marine Corps, including two combat tours in Iraq. He is a Bronze Star recipient and has received numerous other personal and unit commendations recognizing his service, leadership, and valor. His military experience instilled in him a strong sense of duty, resilience, and integrity—values that continue to shape his leadership today.

Driven by a passion for helping others, David also founded a nonprofit organization supporting fellow veterans, further reinforcing his belief in service beyond self. Today, through The Patriot Group, Inc., he leverages his extensive industry knowledge and network to help companies secure executive talent capable of driving innovation and growth in highly regulated, strategically vital sectors.

David holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island and an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College. Outside of work, he is a proud husband and stepfather, continuing his commitment to family, country, and community.
