Danny Cahill argues that AI-driven job disruption is not entirely new. Economies constantly destroy and create jobs, but the unsettling part is that we cannot yet clearly see what many of the new roles will be.
He also points out that recruiting has survived previous “industry killers” such as Monster and LinkedIn.
His reasoning is simple:
The best companies still want the best people, and the best people are often not actively looking.
As long as those two things remain true, Danny believes recruiting will continue to be a strong and valuable industry.
