April Ben-Sabat is the founder of Inner Circle Agency, a boutique executive search firm placing finance, legal, ERP, and C-suite leaders for companies across the U.S. and Canada. While she didn't come from a recruitment background, having run the management and finance function of a transport and logistics company before founding ICA in 2022, that outsider's start is part of why the agency works the way it does. She has quietly automated most of the back end, running AI-built workflows for intake, job descriptions, contracts, and outreach so her team can spend its time on people instead of paperwork. Her client base has been built solely through networking and word of mouth. What started in Montreal now runs increasingly on U.S. searches, with a deliberately small client roster and senior attention on every one.
