How 10 Recruiters Beat 40-Person Firms With 3 AI Agents and $160/Month | Alex Papageorge

How To Build An AI-Native Recruiting Firm That Beats Firms 4x Its Size (3 Agents, $160/Month) | Alex Papageorge, Super Recruiter

Alex Papageorge is back on The Elite Recruiter Podcast. Last time he was duct-taping n8n, Clay, and OpenAI together. Now Super Recruiter runs on Azure with three AI agents named Donna, Sunny, and Mina sitting on Mac Minis on his desk, 35 to 40 active clients, and an infrastructure bill of about $150 to $160 a month (infrastructure only, excluding sourcing and interview tools, as Alex tells it). He won't share revenue, but Benjamin says it on tape and Alex clears it: a firm of ten doing the numbers Benjamin has seen 40-person firms do. That's Benjamin's comparison, not a billing figure.

His argument is the one most recruiters don't want to hear. If you think you're using AI because you pay for a sourcing tool with AI in it, you're not. You're renting tools. The firms that pull ahead will be the ones whose tools talk to each other through a real data layer. Ask your firm owner what the data architecture strategy is. If the answer is "our ATS," that's the pause for concern.

Alex breaks down what each agent does and where the human stays in the loop, why a central source of truth drives token costs down instead of up, what clients are saying about the 20% fee, the email campaign Benjamin saw on screen (157 candidates, 62% open rate, 58% positive reply rate, as Alex tells it), and what to actually do Monday morning if you just realized your tool stack isn't a strategy.
