Stress and burnout are not the same thing.

Michelle Flynn explains the difference clearly:

“Stress is when you’re putting too much effort in. Burnout is when you can’t put any more effort in.”

Recruitment will always involve pressure, adrenaline, targets and the drive to close deals. The goal is not to pretend the industry is stress-free. It is to give recruiters the tools to manage that pressure before they fall off the performance curve.

Burnout is real, but it is also preventable when the warning signs are recognized early.
