If you want to know whether your recruiting firm is actually prepared for the future, Alex Papageorge says there is one question worth asking leadership:
“What is our data architecture strategy?”
If the answer is “I don’t know,” “What does that mean?” or simply “We have an ATS,” that should raise concern.
Why?
Because AI is only as powerful as the data infrastructure underneath it.
Recruiting firms may already have valuable data sitting right in front of them, but if that data is fragmented, poorly structured, or inaccessible, the technology layered on top of it will always be limited.
The future of recruitment tech may not start with another tool.
It starts with the data.
